Features of Professional Indemnity Insurance Policy

 

Libel or Slander: Provides indemnity for legal costs and expenses incurred by insured resulting from Libel or slander.

Past Professional Activities: Provides indemnity for legal costs and expenses incurred by insured resulting from past professional activities of insured.

Negligence of Insured: Provides indemnity for legal costs and expenses incurred by insured resulting from negligence of insured.

Error or Omission: Provides indemnity for legal costs and expenses incurred by insured resulting from Libel or slander.

Requirements

  1. Completed Proposal form/Brokers Slip
  2. Annual turnover
  3. List of professionals engaged in the firm/Medical facility
  4. Completed Know your Policyholder form
  5. Copy of Certificate of Incorporation for Corporate clients
  6. Identification document for individual client (any one of the below will suffice):
  • i. copy of Data Page of International Passport
  • ii. copy of National Identity card
  • iii. copy of National Driver’s License
  • iv. copy of Voters Card
  1. Policy/Endorsement document
  2. Certificate of Insurance for Medical/Health Professionals
  3. Confirmation of premium payment
