Builder’s Liability

Features of Builders Liability Insurance Policy

 

Death of third party: Provides indemnity for legal costs and expenses incurred by the insured for death of third party.

Bodily Injury to third party: Provides indemnity for legal costs and expenses incurred by the insured for bodily Injury to third party.

Third Party Property Damage: Provides indemnity for legal costs and expenses incurred by the insured for 3rd Party Property Damage.

Legal Costs: Provides reimbursement for the cost of litigation and expenses.

Requirements

  1. Completed Proposal form/Brokers Slip
  2. Details of the buildings under construction/erection
  3. Completed Know your Policyholder form
  4. Copy of Certificate of Incorporation for Corporate clients
  5. Identification document for individual client (any one of the below will suffice):
  • i. copy of Data Page of International Passport
  • ii. copy of national ID Card
  • iii. copy of National Driver’s License
  • iv. copy of Voters Card
  1. Policy/Endorsement document
  2. Certificate of Insurance
  3. Confirmation of premium payment
