LASACO ASSURANCE PLC has reinstated its commitment to identifying with the aspirations of its community as well as the environment within its operations by making donations to different organizations, institutions and / or N.G.Os as the need arises.

In fulfillment of this commitment, the company recently demonstrated love and put a smile on the faces of the children of the Lagos State Government Motherless Babies Home, Lekki by donating various food items and provisions.

This visit by executives of the company forms part of our CSR activities which is aimed at giving back to the society and contributing to its sustainable growth and development.

Mrs. Folakemi Ajayi, the Assistant General Manager, Technical Division, LASACO Assurance Plc, who led the team during the visit to the LASG Motherless Babies Home ( Lion’s Village), Lekki, stated that the company embarked on this project as a medium of making continued commitment to contribute to economic development while improving the quality of life of the local community and society at large.

Mrs. Ronke Oguntoyinbo, the Matron – in – Charge expressed her gratitude, stating that the company had made a huge difference in the upkeep of the children.

Mrs Ajayi further added that the company had been consistent in its CSR Initiatives by reinforcing our belief in the capacity of the Nigerian Youth, the company donated towards the successful hosting of the Alofos Science Competition for Secondary Schools in Lagos State which is aimed at energizing the capability of the youths of our nation in Science and Technology.

The company also envisioned the need to throw its weight behind the Lagos State Government in ensuring that the state enjoys improved security by making donations to the Lagos State Security Trust Fund. LASACO also partnered with P.E.A.C.E Concert Team, Women of Global Impact on awareness creation about Cervical Cancer and the National Orthopaedic Hospital.

LASACO also has a strong focus to continuously engage in developmental projects that will positively affect our society. Hence, LASACO partnered with the New Era Foundation (NEF) which supports youths to optimize their potential through focused experiential education and promote women empowerment.
